Colleen Rennison

Colleen Rennison ( born December 2, 1987) is a Canadian actress and singer.

Career

Rennison was as a child in front of the camera of several Canadian productions and worked as a teenager, among others, in the movies at the moment of death ( Unforgettable, 1996) by John Dahl and The Story ( The Story of Us, 1999). They also had in 2000 produced the short film A Feeling Called Glory a role.

She sang also in various Canadian cover bands, but would much prefer to write their own music and perform. She moved to New York and studied singing and performance at the theater school Circle in the Square, but has been excluded from school because her voice was too deep for all female roles.

Upon her return to Vancouver, she founded together with former bassist of the band Hot Hot Heat, Parker Bossley, the band No Sinner, with whom she first a single, then released an EP in Canada. After the release of the album Boo Hoo Hoo in Europe in January 2014, it came here as a singer in the spotlight, which is compared to Amy Winehouse, Etta James and Janis Joplin.
