Colonia Delta is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

Colonia Delta is located in the area of the department of San José in its sector 5 settlements near the location on the Río de la Plata Boca del Cufré are in a westerly direction, La Boyada in the northeast, Ecilda Paullier and Scavino in the north- north-west, as well as in the Cuchilla Pereira located Mevir Costas de Pereyra in the southeast.

History

In Colonia Delta is a Mennonite colony. It was founded by immigrants during the Second World War the Germans.

Population

The population of Colonia Delta is 41 (as of 2011), including 16 male and 25 female. For the previous censuses of 1963, 1975, 1985, 1996 and 2004 at the Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay, no data have been acquired.
