Ecilda Paullier is a city in Uruguay.
Geography
Ecilda Paullier is located on the territory of the department of San José in its sector 5 in the Cuchilla Pavón. The place is located in the south-west of San José near the westerly boundary to Nachbardepartamento Colonia, which is formed there from Arroyo Cufré. Immediately southeast is the place Scavino. Other settlements in the area are on the Río de la Plata Located Boca del Cufré the southwest, La Boyada south-east and in the west and Nueva Colonia Valdense Helvecia. A few kilometers south of the springs to the catchment area of the Arroyo Pavón scoring Arroyo sauce. North Ecilda Paulliers flows of Arroyo Escudero. History
On May 16, 1883, dates the founding of Ecilda Paullier, which was initially built as Santa Ecilda by European immigrants as an agricultural settlement. The founding treaty with the government closed it on that day, a native of France Federico Paullier, on whose wife Ecilda Capdevilla de Paullier the name is due.
