Concepción (volcano)

The Concepción is a stratovolcano in Nicaragua. Along with the neighboring volcano Maderas, it forms the island of Isla de Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua. The last eruption dates back to the year 2010. Numerous outbreaks in the second half of the 20th century, the height is considerably grown over the amount specified in most records.
