Conference of Slovak Bishops

The Slovak Bishops' Conference (Slovak Konferencia biskupov Slovenska ( KBS ) ) was founded on 23 March 1993 at the request of the bishops of Slovakia and after approval by the Holy See on 23 March 1993. The headquarters of the Episcopal Conference in Bratislava. Task

The KBS is a permanent institution and the Assembly of Bishops of Slovakia. Operation

The range of responsibilities of CABs operate individual commissions and committees, including the endeavor to the activities of the Church in its interior, as well as in the relationship of the Church to society and to spread Christian values ​​in every area of life.
