Conrad Bain

Conrad Stafford Bain ( born February 4, 1923 in Lethbridge, Alberta, † January 14, 2013 in Livermore, California ) was a Canadian- American actor. He is best known for his role as Phillip Drummond in the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes? and known as Dr. Arthur Harmon in Maude.

Life

Conrad Bain was born along with his twin brother Bonar Bain on February 4, 1923 Canadian Lethbridge. He studied art at the Banff Centre and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Then he lived in Livermore, California. Bain was married to Monica Sloan from 1945 until her death in 2009. They had three children - Jennifer, Kent and Mark - together.

Conrad Bain died on January 14, 2013 at his home in Livermore, at the age of 89, of natural causes.
