Conrad Hilton, Jr.

Conrad Nicholson " Nicky " Hilton, Jr. ( born July 6, 1926 in Dallas, † February 5, 1969 in Los Angeles ) was an American businessman, manager and board member of Trans World Airlines. He has become known as the son of the founder of the hotel chain of the same name, Conrad Nicholson Hilton, and as husband of Elizabeth Taylor.

Life

Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr. was the son of hotelier Conrad Hilton and his first wife, Mary Adelaide Barron. Hilton grew up with three younger siblings: Barron, the hotel chain took over in 1966, Eric and Constance. The mother of the half-sister Constance was Zsa Zsa Gabor.

Hilton was a graduate of Loyola University Chicago and the École Hôtelière in Lausanne and later worked in the management of the Hilton International Company. From 1950 to 1951 he was married to Elizabeth Taylor, and since 1958 with the oil heiress Patricia McClintock, with whom he had two sons. Hilton died at the age of 42 of a heart attack. He is on the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City buried.
