Conrad II, Count of Luxembourg

Conrad II (* 1106, † 1136 ) was from 1129 to 1136 Count of Luxembourg. He was the only son of William of Luxembourg and Mathilde von Northeim.

He was married to Ermengarde of Zutphen, daughter of Count Otto II of Zutphen. Their marriage remained childless. Thus ended the line of the first house of Luxembourg as Konrad II died at the age of 30 years. Since I of the children of Conrad, Henry III. had died childless and also Conrad II, the only son of William of Luxembourg, Luxembourg became part of Henry IV. This was the son of Conrad's aunt Ermesinde of Namur, a daughter of Conrad I, the second marriage to Geoffrey of Namur ( 1068, † 1139 ) was married.
