Conrad II, Duke of Merania

Conrad II of Meranien (also Conrad III of Dachau. † October 8, 1180 ) was Duke and a son of Conrad II of Dachau. His mother can not be unambiguously assigned because his father was married twice.

Life

Because he died childless, the county Dachau went to Duke Otto I of Wittelsbach. This was the end of the line Scheyern - Dachau, the branch line Dachau Valley, however, was still on.

Family

Konrad married Udilhilde of Tübingen, daughter of the Count Palatine of Tübingen Hugo.

The marriage produced no children were born.
