Constance Moore

Constance Moore ( born January 18, 1920 in Sioux City, Iowa, † September 16, 2005 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life

She grew up in Texas Constance Moore began her career in show business, first as a singer. Not long after her feature film debut in 1937, she was also awarded a contract as an actress at Universal Studios. In the following ten years, Constance Moore starred in a number of musicals (including Atlantic City and Hit Parade of 1947 with Eddie Albert), Western (including Border Wolves ), comedies (eg You can cheat on you honest with WC Fields and Argentine Nights with the Ritz Brothers) and dramas (including I wanted wings with Ray Milland and William Holden ).

A wide audience, however, was known in 1939 as Commander Wilma Deering in the science fiction B-movie serial Buck Rogers, Constance Moore.

1939 married Constance Moore her agent Johnny Maschio. After the birth of her two children, she moved in 1947 largely from the show business and took over only sporadic roles on Broadway and on television, such as in the family series Window on Main Street with Robert Young.
