Continental Cup (KHL)

The Continental Cup (Russian Кубок Континента / Kubok Kontinenta ) is a trophy of the Kontinental Hockey League. You will be awarded to the best team in the main round point since the 2009/10 season. The price is comparable to the Presidents' Trophy for the National Hockey League.

The name of the trophy was determined by the fans of the KHL who decided more than 50 percent of the votes cast for Кубок Континента.

Award winners

The first winner of the trophy was Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the season 2009/10. Already in the 2008/ 09 season, Ufa was also able to successfully finish the main round as point- best team. So far, no team has both the Continental Cup, and the Gagarin Cup win in the same year.
