Koch Bihar ( Bengali: কোচবিহার, Kocbihār; anglicized also Cooch Behar ) is a town with about 77,000 inhabitants in the north of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the administrative seat of the district of Koch Bihar.

Koch Bihar was the capital of the former princely state of Cooch Behar.
