Cook (crater)

Cook is an impact crater on the Moon's front page on the southwestern edge of Mare Fecunditatis, southeast of the crater Colombo and northeast of Monge. The rim is eroded and filled the interior of the lavas of Mare.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the English explorer James Cook.
