Copenhagen Hockey is a former Danish ice hockey club from Hvidovre, which was founded in 1966 as ice hockey department of Hvidovre and played between 2011 and 2013 in the AL -Bank Ligaen.

History

The Hockey Department of Hvidovre was founded in 1966 and took between 1993 and 1999 and between 2001 and 2003 at the Elite Series in part. During the season 2002/ 03 the matches of the first team was shut down due to financial problems. In the following four years Hvidovre Ishockey took part in the second-class first division.

2007 with totempo.com found a new main sponsor and renamed the Professional Division in Totempo HvIK. This was recorded the highest professional league in 2007 in the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen, in which they appear in the regular season in the playoff quarterfinals met in the 2007/ 08 season after a seventh place in Herning Blue Fox. The eventual champions defeated Totempo despite a temporary 3-1 lead in the best- of-seven series with just under 3:4 victories. Over the 2008/09 season, the team had to withdraw due to the bankruptcy of the main sponsor totempo.com and of the related financial problems from the current game mode, so that all the results of the team have been canceled for the second round.

In the summer of 2009 was established from the home club out a new professional team that played from the season 2009/10 as Hvidovre league hockey in the highest Danish league. In the following two seasons, the team reached the playoff quarterfinals, respectively. In the summer of 2011, the professional team was renamed again - to facilitate the marketing - in Copenhagen Hockey.

2013 was the operator of Copenhagen Hockey bankrupt and the first team was withdrawn from the league.
