Corbera de Llobregat

Corbera de Llobregat is a Catalan city in the province of Barcelona, in northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Baix Llobregat and belongs to the metropolitan area Area Metropolitana de Barcelona.

Corbera de Llobregat is first mentioned in 992. One of the oldest buildings in the town include the 11th-century church of Sant Cristòfol de Corbera. From the same period dates the monastery of Sant Ponç de Corbera, which is indeed located in Cervello, but church history was one of Corbera.
