Corral de Bustos

Corral de Bustos is a city in Argentina in the Departamento Marcos Juárez in the southwest of the province of Córdoba.

The city is also known as Corral de Bustos - known Ifflinger, the second part of the name is associated with the original name of the village, which was used in the course of time only for the Barrio Ifflinger. The city's inhabitants call themselves "Corrales ".

Corral de Bustos - Ifflinger was founded in the early 20th century, when the German Karl von Ifflinger of the Government of the province of Cordoba asked permission to found a town that bears his family name further. The government granted permission on 14 November 1901. This date is regarded today as the founding date of the city, which originally only today's Barrio Ifflinger included.

Corral de Bustos has 11,882 inhabitants ( 2001). The population in 1991 was 9,389 people.
