Corsaires de Dunkerque

The Corsaires de Dunkerque (official name: Hockey sur glace Dunkerque ) is a French ice hockey team from Dunkirk, which was founded in 1979 and in 2010/11 season in Division 1, the second highest French Hockey League, plays.

History

The team was founded in 1979. In the season 1992/93 Corsaires de Dunkerque first took it to the highest French Hockey League in part, in which they were represented multiple times in the following years, most recently in the season 2004/05. After the team was relegated in the subsequent period in the third-class Division 2, she succeeded in the 2010/11 season winning the championship title of Division 2 against the Lyon Hockey Club and hence the rise in the second class Division 1
