Cosmopolitan Twarda 2/4

Cosmopolitan Twarda 2/4, formerly known as the Shalom Tower, Twarda Tower or Tower Hines known, is a currently under construction luxury apartment building in downtown Warsaw. Completion is scheduled for summer 2013.

History

In 2006, the architect Stefan Kurylowicz from the original investor who Fundacja Shalom, was commissioned to design a skyscraper at Ulica Twarda 2/4. 2010 was the start of construction. A short time later took over because of financial difficulties of the Foundation Tacit Development project ( with the property) and asked the company Hines with further development. A new design was created by Helmut Jahn. By 2011, Hines developed the project, since the owner ( Tacit Development ) is responsible for completion. Construction company is Hochtief.

Architecture

After its completion, the second highest apartment house in Warsaw will be ( and the third highest in Poland ), the Cosmopolitan Twarda 2/4-Gebäude with 44 floors and a height of 160 meters after the Złotą 44 project of Orco.

The skyscraper will have 252 apartments with surface areas 52-350 square meters; the top floor of the four penthouses are furnished. In the lower floors retail space as well as a fitness club will be created in basements and 300 parking spaces. The total floor space will be 32,000 square feet.
