Costa Rei

Costa Rei refers to a part of the coast of Sardinia ( part of the municipality Muravera ), extending over nearly ten kilometers along the east coast of the island and about 50 kilometers from the island's capital Cagliari is located. The Costa Rei is bordered to the south of the rocks of Punta di Santa Giusta and the north by Capo Ferrato. The Monte Ferru is located on the Costa Rei.

In high season the Costa Rei is a popular tourist destination that is visited annually by about 20 000 tourists, mostly of European origin. A new expressway linking the seaside area with Cagliari and thus ensures a better accessibility.
