Costantino Rocca
Costantino Rocca ( born December 4, 1956 in Bergamo ) is an Italian professional golfer on the European Tour. He is the most successful player of his country.
Rocca began as a caddy, and after winning the national Caddie Cup 1978, he was first caddy master. In 1981, he pursued a professional golfer's career. After several unsuccessful attempts to qualify for the European Tour, he finally made it in 1990 yet. Rocca improved steadily and reached in 1993 already the 6th place in the money list. His best years were then in 1995 and 1996, where he finished fourth in each of the rankings. Overall Rocca reach five tournament wins, including the prestigious Volvo PGA Championship in 1996.

Costantino Rocca was also the first Italian who was appointed to the European Ryder Cup team. He played in three consecutive meetings of 1993-97, had a positive match record of 6-5 and made the decisive victory in 1997 at Valderrama point in the match against none other than Tiger Woods.
He be allowed to compete in senior tournaments and already on his third -shows on the European Seniors Tour Rocca won the AIB Irish Seniors Open since 2007.
