The Cotton Bowl is a 1932 opened, traditional sports complex at Fair Park Dallas. It is equipped with natural grass and holds 92,200 spectators. The name is a pun on the term cotton boll ( boll of cotton).

Some matches of the 1994 World Cup were held here. Furthermore Football is here annually to the Cotton Bowl trophy in college fought. The discharged annually Red River Rivalry between the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oklahoma, which represents one of the greatest rivalries in American sports, takes place here.
The stadium was renovated in 2008, the seating capacity was increased from 76,000 to 92,200.
