Coupe du Faso
THe Coupe du Faso is the national football cup competition in the West African state of Burkina Faso ( Upper Volta until 1984 ), organized by the Association Fédération de Football Burkinans.
First winner after independence 1960 Racing Club Bobo- Dioulasso, current title holder is ASFA Yennenga Ouagadougou. Participation is open to all clubs, regardless of whether they are members of the Association. Each year, some 32 qualified teams.
After 1977-1986, only two Cup winners were determined, it was decided to create the Coupe du Faso in March 1987.
