Covington (Kentucky)

Covington is a city in Kenton County in the United States of America. The city lies at the confluence of the Ohio River and Licking River. Covington is the fifth largest city in Kentucky and Independence together with the city of the county seat.

Geography and climate

History

In 1814 bought 3 merchants 150 acres of land below the Ohio River and named their company, founded there " Covington Company" in memory of General Leonard Covington, an American officer who had died in 1912 in British -American War.
