Crângurile

Crângurile is a municipality in the district of Dâmboviţa in Wallachia in Romania. Parish seat is Băduleşti.

Geographical location

Located in the historical region Muntenia in the south of Romania, the community is located in the west of the circle Dâmboviţa. The seat of the municipality of Crângurile is located on Potopu - a left tributary of the Sabars - 7 kilometers northwest of the town Găeşti on the National Road (drum National) DN 7 between Bucharest and Pitesti in the west of the circle Dâmboviţa. The community consists of eight villages.

There is here a maritime climate ( Cfb ).

Population

2002 lived in the community of 3,451 people, of whom 3,159 Romanians, 288 Roma, two Hungarians, a Turk and a resident of any other ethnic group. The census of 20 October 2011 resulted in the community Crângurile a total population of 3,394 inhabitants. 2,499 of these were Romanians, Roma 765 and 129 people were registered without ethnic information.

Economy
