Cristoforo Giacobazzi

Cristoforo Giacobazzi (also Giacobacci, Jacovazzi, Jacovacci, Iacobatius, Jacobazio, Jacobatii ) (* in Rome, † October 7, 1540 in Perugia ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Was Giacobazzi 1523 Bishop of Cassano allo Ionio after his uncle, Domenico Giacobazzi abdicated from his seat in this diocese for him. Was Giacobazzi Datarius 1534 in Rome, a year later he was appointed a reform commission to renew the Roman Curia. He was on 22 December 1536 by Pope Paul III. a cardinal with the title of Santa Anastasia church.
