Croatia at the 2002 Winter Olympics

Croatia seconded to the Olympic Winter Games 2002, a team of 13 athletes who competed in five different disciplines. The country was represented for the fourth time in a Winter Olympics. The Alpine skier Janica Kostelic, who was standard-bearer at the opening ceremony at the same time, could win three gold and one silver medal and was thus the most successful after the Norwegian biathlete Ole Einar Bjørndalen participants of the Games. In the medals table, the country was thus ranked 12th with the skier Ana Jelušić that was old when her race 15 years and 55 days, Croatia also unveiled the youngest athlete in the starting field.
