Cross City is a city and also the county seat of Dixie County in the U.S. state of Florida with 1,728 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Cross City is located approximately 140 km southeast of Tallahassee and about 180 km south-west of Jacksonville.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 1,728 inhabitants distributed in 845 households.
