Cross-country skiing at the 2010 Winter Paralympics
In the X Paralympic Winter Games in 2010 20 competitions were held in the cross-country skiing between 14 and 21 March 2010 in Whistler.
Competitions
The competitions were held in the categories visually impaired, sitting and standing. There were a total of 20 medal decisions made up of ten with the ladies and the gentlemen. The last two races were held in the relay. The distances ranged from a kilometer in the sprint competition up to 20 kilometers in a single race of men. The most successful nation in the long run Apply the 10th Winter Paralympics was Russia with a total of 22 medals - seven gold, nine silver and six bronze. Germany finished with three gold and a silver medal in third. Successful athlete was the German Verena Bentele with three gold medals. The most successful athlete was Canadian Brian McKeever, also with three golden.
