Crytek Black Sea

Crytek Black Sea (formerly the Black Sea Studios ) is a gaming software company based in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The company was founded in 2001 by Vesselin Handjiev known as co-developer of the computer strategy game Tzar and employed 15 employees in December of the same year. Of a cooperative agreement with the publisher Sunflowers showed the most recognized game of the company, which in the Middle Ages is moved Knights of Honor, which was published in 2004.

On 8 May 2008, the German version of World Shift came into the trade. In addition, a limited Collector 's Edition is published with bonus material to WorldShift. The bonus material consists of an audio CD with the soundtrack and a book of previously unpublished illustrations.

In July 2008, the Black Sea Studios were taken over by the German developer Crytek and operate since then under the name Crytek Black Sea.
