CS Kosarom Pașcani

CSM Paşcani is a Romanian football club from Paşcani, Iaşi county. He plays since 1990 in League III. A total of 25 years was a member of the club the second Romanian football league and was in the 1987/88 season in the quarter- final of the Romanian Cup.

History

CSM Paşcani was founded in 1921 as CFR Paşcani. In that time, CFR could not qualify for the final round of the Romanian football league in the region Iasi. For the first time the club played in the 1934/35 season nationally in the newly established Divizia B. Previously, he had changed his name in Unirea CFR Paşcani. In the following years the repeated qualification for the second division did not succeed. In the at that time only sporadically discharged Divizia C Unirea CFR was one of the party, but could be placed only at end of table.

As an association of the Romanian railway company Caile Ferate novels, the club changed the beginning of the 1950s his name in Locomotiva Paşcani. The playing time in 1956, he completed his season in second place behind the Divizia C Recolta Fălticeni and missed the return to the Divizia B by one point. This was two years later rescheduled after the club had moved back to its original name CFR Paşcani in 1958. After victories against Flacara Moreni and FC Olt Scorniceşti CFR moved into the quarter-finals, but retired there from against AS Victoria Bucharest.
