Cuban National Series

The series Nacional de Béisbol (Spanish for National Baseball Championship) is the local amateur baseball championship in Cuba. It was founded after the dissolution of the professional league as a result of the Cuban Revolution.

League structure

From 1993, the league consisted of 16 teams, due to the division of the province of La Habana from the 2011-2012 season from 17 teams, with each team representing a province in Cuba. Each player will compete for his home team. The capital Havana is two teams. There, the top players usually play for Industriales, which is traditionally strongest team in the league.
