Cuchilla Alta is a town in Uruguay.

Geography

Cuchilla Alta is located on the territory of the department of Canelones in its sector 8 The town lies on the coast of the Río de la Plata between the east and the west bordering El Galeón subsequent Biarritz. A few kilometers north in the hinterland of Cuchilla Alta springs from the Arroyo Junquito, a left-side tributary of the Arroyo de la Coronilla.

The place is located on the Ruta Interbalnearia at the kilometer point 73, at the intersection with Ruta 70
