Çukurova, Adana

Çukurova is a municipality of Adana and at the same time a district of Adana Province in Turkey. The 2008 split off from Seyhan district is 240 km ² and is located in the south of the province on the border with the province of Mersin. The name of the town derives from the great plain Çukurova.

In the district there are 13 towns and 11 villages. 9 municipalities are part of the city of Adana, the four remaining municipalities are located outside. These hot Salbaş, Esentepe, Kocatepe, Yeni Mahalle and Gökkuyu.
