The Culgoa River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Queensland and northern New South Wales. He is a source of the river Darling River.

In Dirranbandi in Queensland it arises out of the flood plain of the Balonne River and flows gently descending to the southwest. When Brenda he crosses the border into New South Wales. West of Brenda are the Culgoa - Floodplain National Park in Queensland and the Culgoa National Park in New South Wales.

East of Warraweena the Culgoa River combined with the coming of the East Barwon River to the Darling River.
