Curauer Au

The Curauer Au, often also referred to as Curau correctly, is a river in the communities Stockelsdorf, Ahrensbok and Ratekau in a circle East Holstein, Schleswig -Holstein.

Course

It originates from the Curauer Moor in Ahrensböker Endmoränenzug east of Dakendorf and flows eastward, the place Curau happened in the north, then flows in a northeasterly direction and flows into the Rohlsdorf Schwartau, whose most important tributaries it belongs. A tributary of the Curau is the Schwinkenrader mill stream, on which the remains of the water mill are still standing. It rises in the Schwinkenrader forest in the district of Böbs Ahrensbok.
