Cut the Rope is a puzzle video game for a number of platforms and devices. The game and its sequels Cut the Rope: Experiments Cut the Rope: Time Travel, Cut the Rope 2 and Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift has been developed by Russian game developer ZeptoLab.

The game is one of the best-selling apps. Cut the Rope has been downloaded more than 100 million times since its release.

Gameplay

In Cut the Rope it comes to a green animal called Om Nom ( from the American, German: slang for Cookie Monster ) to feed in a box of candy. The candy hanging on a rope that can be cut with the help of the finger or the mouse to move it into the mouth of Om Nom. On the way to the mouth of the player must collect the candy three stars. The road in the mouth is caused by various objects such as lasers, bubbles or balloons (to be used as a bellows ) difficult. In various boxes, new objects are introduced into the game.

To get to the candy mountain, all boxes must be coped with. The completion of each level will be rewarded with one to four stars and a score. For each star collected the player gets a star and by faster playthrough he gets more points. Need to achieve four star super powers be purchased via in- app purchase to do so. The game supports Apple's Game Center for points tables.

Cut the Rope was first released in 2010 for iOS. In the game there are 15 boxes, each with 25 levels. In the web browser, there are only three boxes, each with nine levels.

In August 2011, appeared Cut the Rope: Experiments with additional game content.

Cut the Rope: Time Travel

On April 12, 2013 Cut the Rope has been announced Time Travel. The game was released on April 18, 2013 Apple iOS and Android.

Mid- September 2013 Cut the Rope 2 was officially announced. The game was released on December 19, 2013 for iOS.
