Cylob

Cylob is the best known pseudonym of the British electronica musician, DJ and label operator Chris Jeffs. He also published under the pseudonyms Kinesthesia and Ambient News.

Jeffs was influenced by the 1980s synth pop, old-school hip-hop and electro. After the production of a demo tape, he handed this during a performance at the Richard D. James known as Aphex Twin. He was then taken by James ' record label Rephlex Records. There, in 1993 Jeffs ' first commercial release Industrial folk songs appeared. Since then he has published as Cylob and Kinesthesia several albums and singles on Rephlex. Other publications have appeared on his own label Cylob Industries, Ed DMX's label Breakin ' Records.

Although Cylobs music is produced predominantly instrumental, are probably his most famous pieces Rewind! and Cut The Midrange, Drop The Bass where using voice synthesis produced rapeseed and singing on the essential elements belong. The One -Cut video to play Rewind showed the karate athlete Chloe Bruce.
