Cyril Slater
Cyril Seely Slater ( born March 27, 1897 in Montreal, Quebec; † 26 October 1969 in Quebec City, Canada) was a Canadian ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Cyril Slater began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Montreal Victorias, for which he was active from 1916 to 1933 in the amateur field. In 1924, he was also short-term players in the Toronto Granites, which he represented Canada at the Winter Games in 1924. Following his hockey career Slater emigrated to Norway.
Internationally
For Canada Slater participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in part in Chamonix, where he won the gold medal with his team.
