Dagfinn Høybråten

Dagfinn Høybråten ( born December 2, 1957 in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician of the Christian People's Party ( KrF ), which he chaired from 2004 to 2011.

Høybråten was Minister of Health from 1997 to 2000 and again from 2001 to 2004, then to 2005, labor and social affairs ministers ( government Bondevik II). Then he led until 2011 the Krf Group in the Storting. Since March 2013 he has worked as Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

He studied political science at the University of Oslo and at Luther College, USA.
