Dagmar Braun Celeste

Dagmar Braun Celeste ( born 1941 in Krems, Austria ) is an American Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

Celeste studied theology and political science. She has taught at Kent State University In her work, she campaigned for women's rights and women's ordination. She was on the board of the organization to Women 's Ordination Conference. On June 29, 2002, she was ordained in 1975 by the excommunicated by the Roman Catholic Church free Rómulo Antonio Braschi Catholic Bishops on the Danube. In addition, the Roman Catholic theologians Ida Raming, Christine Mayr- Lumetzberger, Adelinde Theresia Roitinger, Gisela Forster, Iris Pia Brunner and Müller were ordained at the ceremony.
