Dagonet
Dagonet is in the Arthurian legend, the court jester of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. He was formerly the fool of Uther Pendragon. He is usually depicted as an incompetent coward who was beaten only in jest to the knight, such as in Thomas Malory's Le Morte Darthur ( 1485 ).
