Dakodonou
Dakodonu was the second king of Dahomey, a kingdom in what is now Benin. He ruled from 1620 to 1645.
After the traditional old stories Abomeys, rushed Dakodonu his brother, the previous king Gangnihessou while he was on a journey through his kingdom.
Dakodonu is portrayed as a brutal and violent man. His symbols were an indigo -colored glass ( a reference to the murder of a farmer named Indigo Donu, whose name he anhängte to its original name " Dako "), a Zunderbox and a war club.
Before he died, Dakodonu appointed his nephew Aho Houegbadja as his successor.
