Dalešice (Jablonec nad Nisou District)

Dalesice ( German Daleschitz ) is a municipality in Okres Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic. It is located about 5 km south of Jablonec nad Nisou ( Jablonec ), south-west on the slopes of the mountain Dalešický vrch and has 113 inhabitants ( 2003).

History

The first records date from the year 1538. Dalesice The name originates from the founder of the place Dales.

Economic Development

Dalesice lives mainly from tourism and is the starting point for exploring the Bohemian Paradise ( Cesky Raj ) and the Jizera Mountains ( Jizera Mountains ).
