Koberovy

Koberovy ( German Kober Forest) is a municipality with 958 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004) in the Czech Republic. It is situated in 407 m asl in the northern part of the Bohemian Paradise between the cities of Zelezny Brod and Turnov.

The 1323 first mentioned place is situated in an area rich in cultural and natural monuments. Due to the pristine nature Koberovy is a popular tourist destination.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Koberovy Besedice ( Bessetitz ) Chloudov ( Chlodow ) Hamštejn ( Hamstein ) Koberovy ( Kober Forest), Michovka ( Michowka ) Prosíčka ( Prositschka ), vrat ( Wrat ) and Zbirohy ( Sbiroch ).

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Besedice, Koberovy and vrat.
