Dalibor Cutura ( Serbian Cyrillic Далибор Чутура; born June 14, 1975 in Sombor, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian handball player, which is mostly used to back center of the room.

Career

The 1,90 m tall and 91 kg Right-handed first played at the Yugoslav club RK Železničar Niš, with whom he won the 1997 Cup and European Cup winner reached the last 16 in 1997/98. 1998 signed him the Hungarian club Fotex Veszprém, with whom he won the Double in 1999 and pushed forward into the quarter- finals in the EHF Champions League 1998 /99. He then moved to RK Lovćen Cetinje, with the 2000 and 2001 celebrated the Yugoslav Championship. With Cetinje he reached the quarterfinals in the EHF Cup 1999/2000 and in the Champions League 2000 /01.

The next decade spent Cutura in the Spanish league ASOBAL. After brief stops at Pilotes Posada and BM Alcobendas he played from 2004 JD Arrate, with whom he 2008/ 09 reached the quarterfinals in the EHF Cup. In 2010 he moved to Ademar León and again reached the quarterfinals in the EHF Cup 2010/11 and in the EHF Champions League 2011/12, where he still sensational foxes Berlin defeated despite a 34:23 home win. Since 2012 he runs on for the Romanian giants HCM Constanta. 2013 where he won the league and cup double. In the EHF European Cup 2013/14 he reached the group stage.

With the Serbian national Dalibor Cutura took part in the 2012 Olympic Games, finishing in 9th place. At the European Championships in 2012 in his own country, he won the silver medal. Previously, he played 15 international matches in which he scored 32 goals. (Updated: February 26, 2014)

Private

Dalibor Čuturas son died shortly before the 2012 Olympics after a playground accident at the age of 9 years. His younger brother Davor Cutura (* 1979 ) is also handball player.
