2008–09 EHF Cup

At the EHF Cup 2008/ 09 a total of 51 handball club teams took part, who were able to in the previous season in their home countries qualify for the competition. It was the 28th edition of the EHF Cup. The Cup games began on 6 September 2008 return final round was held on 17 May 2009. Winner of the EHF Cup this year was the German club VfL Gummersbach. Defender of the EHF Cup in the previous year was the German HSG Nordhorn.

Final

The draw for the finals took place at 11:00 clock (GMT 2) in Vienna on May 5, 2009. The first leg took place on 23 May 2009, and the return game on June 1, 2009.
