Dalibor Stevanović
Dalibor Stevanovič ( born September 27, 1984 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian footballer who plays in the Slask Wrocław in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
Club career
Dalibor Stevanovič began his career as a footballer in 2001 in his native Slovenia at Olimpija Ljubljana. He then went to Domzale. There he became a regular player and performer. With his team he reached the runner-up behind ND Gorica. Also major foreign clubs were quickly aware of the young Slovenes. The contract eventually got the Spanish traditional club Real Sociedad. There he played in his first season in 16 games and scored one goal. In the relegation season of 2006 /07 but was only used in one game for the Basques.
He stayed after the descent and went with in the Segunda División. After again only three appearances by the completion of the first round, he was loaned out to second division rivals Deportivo Alavés. Even there he was at first not to the course, but only in the last games of the season. After half a year at Maccabi Petach Tikva he came into the winter break in 2008 /09 to SBV Vitesse Arnhem after. In the Netherlands Stevanovič could win a regular place and completed in 2.5 years, 55 games in the Eredivisie in which he scored eight goals. For the season 2011/12 he moved to Ukraine Volyn Lutsk to. Here, however, he could not acclimatize himself and changed again in the winter transfer period. This time to Poland to Slask Wroclaw, who were leaders of the Ekstraklasa at this time.
National team career
For the U-21 national team of Slovenia Dalibor Stevanovič graduated between 2005 and 2006 a total of eight caps and scored four goals. In the senior national team of Slovenia he made his debut on 28 February 2006 in a friendly against Cyprus ( 1-0). His first and only international goal he scored on 14 October 2009 in a 3-0 win against San Marino. With Slovenia, he also took part in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, arrived there but not used.
