Damir Džumhur

Damir Dzumhur (born 20 May 1992, Sarajevo) is a Bosnian tennis player and actor.

Tennis career

Successes as a junior

Since 2008, Damir Dzumhur approached in international junior tennis tournaments. He won several titles and in 2010 reached number 3 in the junior world rankings. His greatest successes were as a junior winning the title at the Junior European Championships in 2010, winning the bronze medal at the Summer Youth Olympic Games 2010 in Singapore as well as reaching the quarter- finals at the Wimbledon Championships 2010.

First years as a professional and Davis Cup debut

Since 2009, he regularly takes part in the tournaments of the ITF Futures Tour part, and has so far six titles in singles and doubles in the win. In 2010 Dzumhur first played for Bosnia and Herzegovina in Davis Cup, winning the decisive final match against Estonia. In 2014, he qualified for the main draw of the Australian Open and the first time for a Grand Slam tournament. He is the first player from Bosnia -Herzegovina, which it succeeded.

Acting Career

First experiences in the film as an extra in the film garnered Dzumhur Grbavica. In the movie Murderous peace by German director Rudolf Schweiger he played as Sniper " Durcan " his first starring role.
