Dane Cook
Dane Jeffrey Cook ( born March 18, 1972 in Cambridge, Massachusetts ) is an American comedian and actor.
Life and career
Dane Cook grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts. His family has Irish and Italian roots, he was educated as Roman Catholics.
His show material consists mostly of everyday humor. His current skits include diverse topics such as car accidents, the time when Cook at Burger King worked and mixed Nerdhumor (eg reference to Star Trek or Transformers ). Cook often refers to specific places or things which he here uses its own slang. Examples: Burger King is called " BK Lounge", Walgreens ( a chain store that specializes in pharmaceutical and conventional products ) is referred to as "The Wall" and the sandwich is a " Sang weighting ".
Cook was often referred to as " the most popular type on MySpace " (next to Tom Anderson, the founder of the service), because he once all the friends circle inquiries which he has received assumed. So Cook came to more than two million friends on his MySpace list.
2012 Cook played the lead role in the NBC comedy series Next Caller. From six planned episodes, however, only four filmed before NBC broke the production. An aura is not planned.
Super fingers
A trend that is attributed to him, the so-called Su- Fi (pronounced "su -fai " ) or Super fingers. Su -Fi is a hand gesture in which stretched the middle and ring fingers, curled index finger and the little finger and the thumb are spread. Dane Cook Super Finger referred to as " the improvement of the stinky finger ." Cook himself said that this move was "out of control " because he constantly photos of people from around the world gets sent, which can be photographed with the Su -Fi.
In 2005, Cook his own record label, which he called Super fingers Entertainment.
