Daniel Ben-Ami

Daniel Ben -Ami ( born 1960 ) is a London -working business journalist and author. His topics include economic development, global economy, financial markets, and environmental economics. He is currently writing a book about what he sees as widespread fear of mass prosperity.

Articles by him have appeared in the Financial Times, The Guardian, The Independent, Prospect, The Sunday Telegraph and The Sunday Times. His somewhat controversial theses published in Spiked (magazine ) and the now-defunct LM Magazine. As an orator and speaker, he performed at the Institute of Ideas, The New York Salon and WORLDwrite, ditto at various BBC radio programs, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, CNN and Sky News.

In the controversy about global warming, he takes a skeptical position and argues for further economic growth. His book publication for the global financial markets was driven by a chapter on the financial policies of the Blair government announced Finance Minister Gordon Brown was too hostile to growth, Brown rather behave like a " Savings Bank Director " such as the main responsible of a significant financial market. In Germany, he has published, among others, in the magazine Novo.
